Adria Poljak

Adria was called to the Bar in 2012, where her practice consisted mainly of appellate, commercial, insurance and administrative law.
From May 2016 to October 2024, Adria was a full time Senior Member of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) in the General & Other Division (General, Security, Small Business and Tax, Taxation and Commercial), and Migration Division. During her appointment, Adria was concerned with a wide range of review proceedings in the field of public law covering a vast array of jurisdictions, predominantly in tax and commercial, regulatory, civil aviation, workers compensation, customs, social security, national security, health and therapeutic goods, and migration (s501 visa cancellations). Adria was the national practice leader in Regulatory matters since May 2021.
Between May 2016 and October 2024, Adria was appointed as a nominated member to issue warrants and was also an approved examiner under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2022 (Cth).
