Biography

Amelia has a broad practice, primarily in civil and commercial disputes, involving contracts, corporations, equity and trusts, insurance, professional negligence, and property, strata and leasing disputes. Amelia also regularly appears in coronial inquests and commissions of inquiry, including at ICAC. She acts in regulatory proceedings, in a range of civil penalty and enforcement matters, and corporate prosecutions. Amelia appears in courts and tribunals across Australia.

Amelia is recognised as an experienced junior counsel. In the Legal 500, Amelia is listed as a leading junior counsel in the Commercial Disputes and Crime and Regulatory sections.

Amelia was called to the bar in 2014. Prior to coming to the bar, Amelia was a solicitor with King & Wood Mallesons and an Associate in the Federal Court of Australia to the Hon. Justice Perram.
