Biography
Amelia is an experienced junior counsel. She has a broad practice primarily in civil and commercial disputes, involving contracts, corporate governance, equity, financial services, insolvency, insurance, misleading conduct, torts, property law including mortgagee proceedings, strata and leasing disputes, and professional negligence.
Amelia regularly appears in coronial inquests and commissions of inquiry. She also acts in regulatory proceedings, in a range of civil penalty and enforcement matters and corporate prosecutions.
Amelia appears in courts and tribunals across Australia.
Amelia was called to the bar in 2014. Prior to coming to the bar, Amelia was a solicitor with King & Wood Mallesons and an Associate in the Federal Court of Australia to the Hon. Justice Nye Perram.
