Biography
Mara was admitted as a solicitor in 2019 and called to the Bar in May 2026. She accepts briefs in all areas of law.
Immediately before coming to the Bar, Mara was a Senior Solicitor at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (NSW). Prior to that, Mara was a Federal Prosecutor at the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions. Mara took a leave of absence from that role to study her Master of Laws at Columbia University, graduating with Highest Honors (top 2% of her class). Mara was also previously a solicitor at MinterEllison in the Financial Services and Administrative Law teams.
