Biography

Nicholas commenced his career in the law in 1995 as the Director of Research for Chief Justice Gleeson of the Supreme Court of NSW (as he then was).

After four years of practice as a solicitor at Freehill Hollingdale & Page from 1996-1999, Nicholas came to the Bar in 2000. He took Silk in 2013.

Nicholas maintains a broad commercial, equity and public law practice at the Bar. He regularly acts in complex property proceedings in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 1), including in the Major Complex Financial Proceedings List and in appeals to the Full Court.

He also practises in professional disciplinary proceedings, and appeared for a large entity in the Banking and Financial Services Royal Commission.
