Phoebe Boyle

Phoebe was called to the Bar in 2023 and accepts briefs in all areas of law. She has particular expertise in criminal law (with a focus on white collar crime) and is regularly briefed for both the prosecution and defence in complex criminal matters.

Phoebe is also regularly briefed in inquests and inquiries, both as counsel assisting and on behalf of interested parties, and for the prosecution and defence in workplace safety prosecutions. She also advises and appears in regulatory and civil penalty proceedings.

Before coming to the Bar, Phoebe was a Senior Federal Prosecutor at the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions, where she prosecuted a broad range of offences including money laundering, fraud, drug and weapons importations, and counterfeit currency. Prior to that, Phoebe was an Associate to the Honourable Justice Abraham at the Federal Court of Australia and a solicitor at Allens.
